How do I install WhoEasy?
Easy! Simply:
- Download it from http://www.pcflank.com/download/whoeasy.exe
- Select “Exit and Shutdown” from the Outpost Firewall icon in your systray.
- Run whoeasy.exe and follow the installation prompts.
- Then launch Outpost Firewall by pressing “Start”, “Programs”, “Agnitum”, “Outpost Firewall, “Outpost”.
Does it work only with Outpost Pro 2.0/2.1/2.5?
Yes Outpost Firewall Pro 2.0, 2.1 or 2.5 needs to be installed on your system.
How can I find WhoEasy in Outpost?
You can find it in the Plug-ins tree of Outpost's left panel. Click on the PC Flank WhoEasy icon to see the plug-in window in Outpost's Information Panel.
Can I use WhoEasy with Outpost Firewall Free?
No.
Is WhoEasy free software?

How do I set WhoEasy to log my query results?
Right-click on the WhoEasy plug-in icon in the plug-ins tree window; select “Properties” and then checkmark “Enable queries logging”. You can also press the “Options” button on the WhoEasy toolbar and then checkmark “Enable queries logging”.
How does WhoEasy work?
After you enter a domain/host name or IP address and press the “Query” button, WhoEasy connects to the whois servers and retrieves the network info for your query. Then you are shown the results window.

After submitting my query I got an error message. What’s wrong?
You might not have correctly typed in the domain or IP address. Another reason could be the whois servers cannot resolve this IP address or domain name.
Why did you decide to create your utility as a plug-in for Outpost, rather than as a separate application?
There are a lot of similar tools that are very costly. We strongly support Outpost Personal Firewall and especially its plug-ins technology, so we decided to create our software as an inexpensive but useful and simple to use plug-in to help Outpost users retrieve network information about an attacker’s IP or domain.
