The first thing that really struck me when I went to download this utility at http://www.anti-trojan.net/ is all the languages it's available in! I counted more than 65. This is an excellent indication of how well this product is supported.
The setup went smoothly and quickly. It asked if I wanted it to predetermine some specific tasks such as automatically running AT-Watch and creating desktop icons. Surprisingly, no reboot was required to launch the program; another point in its favor.
When I started the application, a Welcome page displayed the program's current version info and number of Trojan definitions in its database. Its definition files were a few weeks out of date, so the first step was to update them.
Clicking on the Update tab and pressing the "Search for updates" button found an available update and gave us a new button "Start online update".
The current definitions database was quickly downloaded and I was all ready to start the first scan for Trojans on my system. I've tested other anti-Trojan software, but I heard this one produced deeper scans. Was I going to find that some hacker somewhere had control of my computer or was it safe from prying eyes? I don't mind telling you I was a little nervous.
