Support Services Overview
Agnitum (Outpost firewall)
When you get to Agnitum web-site you're one click away from the Support section. When you get there you can choose what support feature to use: Support Forum or E-mail form.
Agnitum Support Forum is a huge community of users, beta-testers and support workers. The significant advantage of Agnitum Forum is users can expect to get the answer from the developers who used to communicate with Forum users. To ask your question a user needs to register and post his question. However some users might skip the Forum as it takes some time to register before you can post your question. Such users can utilize mail form to send their questions.
Kerio (Kerio personal firewall)
When Kerio web-site is loaded user should go to Kerio firewall section and then click on Support from the top-menu. On the Support page there are phone number an email addresses of Support Service.
There are also a link to Kerio Yahoo Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/keriofirewall where users can refer to for their support needs. However there is no Support Forum on Kerio web-site so users will have to create Yahoo profile and then register to post their questions to the group.
McAfee (McAfee firewall)
There is a direct link to Support section on the home page of McAfee web-site. On the Support page you need to choose a product you use by clicking on its icon. After you get to the McAfee firewall Support page you can browse the Frequently Asked Question, look through the Knowledge Base or go Technical Support at www.mcaffehelp.com. Where you can use a Wizard to find an answer to your question or contact live Support Technician via Java Chat. However we could not find any email addresses or mail forms to send the question via email.
Network Ice (BlackIce Defender firewall)
To solve their problems with Black Ice Defender users can extensive Online Resources of BlackIce to find answers to their technical support queries. If there is no answer then users can contact Support Team via email.
Soft4Ever (Look'n'Stop firewall)
The only way to get to the Support Service of Look'n'Stop firewall is to go to the Contacts page and then click on the link to Look 'n' Stop software questions. There you will see a mail-form to submit your problems. There is also a page with Frequently Asked Questions regarding Look'n'Stop firewall. However there are no link to any Support Forums.
Sygate (Sygate personal firewall)
Sygate Support Service features a very nice Support Forum and a mail form to ask your question via emal. It takes just one click from the home page of Sygate web-site to get to Support Services page. On the page you have to select the product you use. For users of freeware version of Sygate firewall there is Support Forum and Knowledge Base. However we also tried to manually send email to support@sygate.com to see what happens.
Symantec (Norton Internet Security)
Symantec web-site provides huge knowledge base where users can step by step describe the problem and search the base for the answer. If there is no answer to your query in the knowledge base there you can post your question to the discussion group, there Symantec technicians or other users will answer your question.
Tiny Software (Tiny personal firewall)
There is no separate Support section on the Tiny Software web-site and there are no email addresses for support queries in "Contact Us" question. The only link we could find is a link to User's Manual doc on Tiny personal firewall's - "Download and Support" page. However we manually sent our question to support@tinysoftware.com to see what happens.
Zone Labs (Zone Alarm firewall)
Like others, Zone Labs Support&Service page provides answers to some common questions about using ZoneAlarm, Tips and Reference Documents. If a user cannot find the answer then he/she is able to contact Technical Support via email form. There are no Forums or discussion groups on the web site.
