Which tools to choose?
The main disappointments of the comparison results came from two most famous Anti-Viruses: the Norton AntiVirus (NAV) and the McAfee VirusScan. Both software giants failed on Trojans check detecting only 48% (NAV) and 70% (McAfee) of total Trojans tested. That actually means that Symantec product would detect 5 of 10 Trojans on your system while McAfee does 7 of 10.
On the other hand, such tiny and simple program as the Tauscan is able of detecting 96% of total Trojans tested.
The KAV has proved its serious intensions on the Anti-Viruses market detecting 85% of total Trojans tested.
