What is Ad Ware?

Ad Ware is software that contains advertising. Many manufacturers distribute free copies of their software with advertising banners constantly displayed as a compensation for the free program. Usually the only problem with this arrangement is the ads can get annoying. However, some manufacturers have included into the Ad Ware the technical ability to access some private information about the user and even to manipulate his computer. Good firewall software will block any unscrupulous use of Ad Ware.
